Omar advises in the areas of Biomaterials, Immunotherapy, Materials Science and Drug Delivery. He received his PhD from Harvard University in Engineering and Applied Sciences with a focus in Bioengineering after which he served as a visiting scientist and lecturer. He spent seven years at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering leading a number of studies and collaborations in immunotherapy and material-based cancer vaccines.
